EPROM Programmer Model P1600 resources page
made in JAPAN
This programmer only programs generic 5V EPROMs 2716 and 2732,
does not program TI TMS2716 (needs 5V, -5V and 12V)
it is based on Intel 8039 microcontroller, firmware is in a 27C32 EPROM (firmware
attached)
Don´t have the manual but it is easy to operate:
After powering on the programmer press "JOB 16 SET" to select 2716
or "JOB 32 SET" to select 2732, then in the screen appears "J
16" or "J 32"
and the red led labelled "2716" or green led labelled "2732"
lights on.
- Press "JOB ERS SET" to blank check EPROM, if appears in the screen
"J 16" or "J 32" blank check in successful, if unsuccessful
appears "E 0 00" in the screen, meaning
address 0000 of EPROM contains 0 instead FF, also the red led labelled "2716"
or green led labelled "2732" blinks. Press "JOB" to quit.
- Press "JOB ED SET" to edit buffer, "-" backs address,
"SET" advances address, press "0" to "F" keys
to change data, press "JOB" to quit.
- Press "JOB LOD SET" to load EPROM content into buffer.
- Press "JOB CMP SET" to verify EPROM content with buffer, if not
match the first difference between EPROM content and buffer appears as "C
0 00" in the screen, meaning
address 0000 of EPROM contains 00 and address 0000 of buffer contains any value
but 00, also the red led labelled "2716" or green led labelled "2732"
blinks. Press "JOB" to quit.
- Press "JOB PRG SET" to program EPROM with buffer.
