this programmer software can only work under WINDOWS98 at maximum

there is no serial interface on the programmer : only a parallel interface

it can be supplied by batteries or connected to mains through a transformer

this programmer is very good : it supports a software to replace PAL by GALs automatically.

The power supply is a socket type "Model#PWR SPLY,220 Part # 383-004-001"

It is rated Output 16,5V AC / 780mA / 12,4W

For your information the ChipWriter runs on 18V AC ( several hours connected with no problem )

1) When you close your PC ChipWriter lights !!!!! if you do not disconnect the interface // you end up with empty batteries !!!!!!! or if you let the 18V AC same problem !!! not bad but to say
2) If you close your PC and you let your ChipWriter lit , the program can not find the ChipWriter ( in the instructions indicate they always do a test when you test PC exchange ), so you disconnect your ChipWriter and you power it up and everything is in order ( reset fortune )

This software is called “ChipWin” and works for all three ChipWriter Programmers.
