This product is an important technological innovation which
has never been applied to printers.
The Power Line Modem data transmission system operates locally,
i.e. on the single-phase electric main power.
As data are transferred Through a serial device connected to
the PC or the host, they are sent and addressed to the printers.
The printer address may be set-up from its keyboard and the
data transmission is bi-directional.
This device, modem, can interface up to 62 printers on the same
electric line.
The Power Line Modem system is particularly suitable for all
those applications where various printers need to be installed
on the network.
Therefore, its best fields of application are: restaurant and
fast food systems, department stores and applications aimed
at advertising promotions. |
